Game is a collection of huge excel spreadsheets. It contains data from thousands of guys doing millions of social experiments. They wrote down what the effect of their behaviour was in certain situations. It goes something like this:

(The data in this example spreadsheet is of course just made up. Don’t take it at face value :)

THIS IS ACTUALLY WHAT GAME IS.
(The practice, that is – the theory is another topic altogether.)

Now you see how it works: You study this spreadsheet and learn what works when and how. There are no guarantees but there are predictions. Of course there will be slight variaton for you based on your traits, preferences, skills, etc., but the averages are there.

It doesn’t force you to do anything. In any given situation you have perfect freedom to choose your course of action, but now you know what the odds of positive outcomes are. It’s up to you how you use this knowledge. If you don’t have moral problems you can always go for the options with the best possible outcomes. You can choose worse-than-perfect methods but still hope for good results.

It can not possibly “not work” because game contains every human behaviour imaginable. You can not do anything that is not “game”. The difference is between “good game” and “bad game”. Good game yields good results, and that is why it’s called good game. That is why it is being taught everywhere in the world. You can learn what is in those excel sheets without paying for them. The only thing you can not do is to say “game doesn’t work”. It makes you look stupid. If you say behaviour does not affect your chances at getting laid that’s like saying it does not matter if you punch her in the face, she will still have sex with you. Of course behaviour affects your chances at getting laid.

If you still don’t understand what game is and how it “works” please consult your doctor or pharmacist.

I wrote about this subject some time ago but it seems the old answers just don’t cut it anymore. I stand by everything I have written on game in the past but I have to elaborate more if I want to address all the recent criticisms.

Most of the confusion of game-haters come from the fact that game actually is confusing. It merges two seemingly contradictory worldviews into a single mindset, and many men are stuck at either not understanding one of these worldviews or not understanding how they can be merged.

1. Practice game for the happiness of your GF/wife

Many naysayers will argue that if you have to do something “unnatural” to make your wife happy then it must be considered “fakery” and it makes you a wimp. I have news for these fellows: your behaviour is not “natural” either; it’s all learned.

And hey, if you don’t want to make your woman happy what the mountainclimbing fuck are you doing in a relationship with her? I enjoy when my GF is happy because I’m a decent human being and not a sociopath. And I don’t think it’s shameful. Go figure.

I reckon every guy wants to make his GF happy because we are wired that way. Evolution at its finest… You WILL do things to make her happy, the question is: will these be effective? The “modern methods” do not work, period. 95% of nice guys are using methods which will make their GFs actively UNHAPPY.

Refusing to change your methods when they demonstrably will NOT bring the desired results is, well, there’s no other way to put it: retarded. Imagine someone fishing with roses instead of worms – and when you point out that he’ll never catch fish with roses he answers “he’s a roses type of guy”. And he keeps complaining the fish won’t bite and that it is somehow “not fair”. Isn’t he really, really dumb?

A happy woman means a better relationship, which in turn means a happier you, so any energy spent on improving your methods is actually an investment in your own happiness.

Also, there’s a pesky little problem with the concept that the methods you are using right now to make her happy are the “core of your personality”: it’s false. You have learned these methods too, from your parents, the media, your teachers, feminists, etc. But these do not work, and replacing them with ones that do will not alter “who you are”; it won’t drastically change anything about how you perceive yourself. If you try to write with the wrong end of the pencil, turning it around is not a crime against yourself. Saying “this is who I am, take me or leave me as I am” while sticking to your learned but defective behaviours will only make you a bleeding heart idiot, but won’t accomplish anything. It’s one of the stupidest mistakes you can ever make, because it ensures your own unhappiness.

But hey, don’t let me shatter your brave illusions. If you insist on fishing with roses, who am I to judge you? Good luck and keep up the good work. I was a “roses kind of guy” once, but I opened my eyes and became a hundred times happier for it. I am fishing with worms now, and I have no moral crisis about it.

2. Practice game for yourself

You might not realize it but the feminized zeitgeist puts immense stress on your masculine soul. It’s hard to see it for what it is because it’s everpresent, and thus invisible to the untrained eye. You only really notice how heavy it is when you finally break free from it. And this is where game comes into the picture.

You were taught that you should bow down to women all the time, no matter how bitchy or stupid entitlement princesses they are. This is actually f*cking annoying, because you do it day after day but deep inside you feel humiliated. 95% of nice guys are nice guys because they have accepted the teachings of the feminized culture saying they are less valuable than women. They act nice and they are nice, but it does them no good. On the contrary, it hurts them, but they can not put their finger on exactly what is wrong. They see that being a nice guy does not bring them happiness but they keep on being nice anyway, because they think the only other option is to become “evil”. This makes them a martyr in their own eyes, perpetually fighting a “bad world” which is not fair to them. They don’t know, but there is a third option: becoming a man. A man who spits on feminized bullshit but who can be kind to women on his own terms. Not a supplicating niceguy but a man standing up for himself.

If you learn “proper” game, it will wake you up to this reality. If you are a nice guy, you must learn game to free you from your f*cked-up feminized programming. Game can lift a terrible burden from your soul, so it is in your own best interest to learn game for your own sake. Even if you never again talk to a woman you should learn game because of this.

3. The paradox

There is a paradox in game: you want to make your woman happy, but if you do anything in order to make her happy it will make her unhappy. This is because doing things for her conveys the subconscious message that you’re her servant and this will make her respect you less. So you have to do things to make her happy without doing things to make her happy. Complicated, isn’t it? :)

Luckily I can cut this gordian knot quite easily: let’s suppose you go to the gym. If you tell your GF you train just for her, it will make you look like a wimp. But if you do it because you want to become stronger, it will make you more attractive. Doing the very same thing can have opposite meanings depending on the context.

Anything you do, you have to do it for your own amusement, and this will make her more attracted to you. Never do anything directly to make her happy; it won’t work. If you want to make her happy you have to do it indirectly. Improve yourself and she will like you for it. Apply this concept to every aspect of your relationships and things will suddenly go a lot smoother.

If you understand all this, you can finally read the game manuals and start to improve your relationships.

I’ve been reading a lot about game lately and there’s one thing that strikes me: There are dozens, if not hundreds of valid stories out there, everyday guys talking about how game changed their lives for the better. OTOH I’ve never seen a single guy saying he has tried game and it didn’t work*. There are lots of naysayers out there, but they’ve never actually tried game. This becomes apparent the moment they open their mouths and start talking nonsense like “game is fakery”, “game is hard work” and so on and so forth. We who actually know what game is also know what game isn’t. Some naysayers read about game and decide it does not work sitting in front of their computers. Some of them do not even read, they just shut their minds the moment they see the first sign of game-related jargon.

What is even more intriguing is that there are naysayers out there who even admit that game works. They just don’t want to put in the effort to have better relationships. They say women should desire them sexually no matter what they do because of their marriage vows. They are like the “fat acceptance” idiots insisting men should desire fat women. Of course we sane people know that’s not how instincts work, but once you’re stuck with the notion that you’re entitled to something it’s very hard to let go. So if you think you’re entitled to be desired no matter how desirable you actually are, then game is a bitter pill to swallow.

Anyway, to get back to the point: there are people who think game doesn’t work, and there are people who have tried it. There is no intersection between the two sets. To me this says everything.

* Well, there are of course bitter idiots out there, like OmegaVirginRevolt, who say they’ve tried game but in fact it’s clear as daylight they don’t understand a word of it.

Tell me, which one is better or more important or true or righteous or whatever: a fishing boat or a sports car? A nice steak or a fine wine? The left leg or the right?

Do I really have to choose?

F*ck this stupid shit that totally unnecessarily divided the manosphere into (at least) two parts. We should unite and fight against our common enemies.

The free torrent of the week at The Box is “A Century of Fatherhood“. It looks interesting. Here’s the description:

Part 1: The Good Father
Series which tells the story of the revolution in modern fatherhood in Britain during the last hundred years. Using intimate testimony, rare archive footage and the latest historical research it reveals the important, and often misunderstood, role played by fathers.

The opening part explodes the popular myth of the tyrannical Victorian-style father, whose children were seen and not heard. The majority of men did not harshly punish their children: they were good and devoted dads who took their job as provider and protector of their family seriously.

Those who tragically lost their lives in the First World War are still fondly remembered by sons and daughters today. Some dads even took part in the fathercraft movement that began in 1920 and which encouraged dads to change nappies and to form close relationships with their children from the beginning.

Part 2: Fathers at War
The Second World War took a generation of fathers away from home to serve in the war effort. They returned home strangers to their own families, some of them disabled and broken men. But in time many did adjust, and the deprivations of war made the simple pleasures of family life and fatherhood all the sweeter. With the growing affluence of the 50s and 60s, some dads felt they were in paradise. Yet fathers soon found themselves fighting a new war – with their teenage sons and daughters, who wanted more freedom from parental control. Now, 50 years on, some of those teenagers desperately wish they had enjoyed a closer relationship with their fathers, but for most it is too late.

Part 3: The New Father
The final episode reveals how the experience of being a father was transformed between the 1960s and the present day and looks at the lives of a fascinating cross-section of fathers from all walks of life over the past fifty years.

The modern hands-on father has a more intimate relationship with his children than the past, but the sexual revolution and feminism has also made fathers more insecure than ever before. Modern divorce laws have excluded fathers from family life and from the access they want to their children. The anguish felt by many dads was expressed in the Fathers 4 Justice protest movement.

From Dalrock:

“But the completeness of feminism’s victory is also its core problem. They control all of the institutions, but we are still here. Millions of men and women still haven’t accepted the mantra of feminism. Despite all of their efforts and having all levers of state and society available to them, the glorious new breed of woman they envisioned hasn’t come to be. And she won’t come to be. What more can feminists try except more of the same?

Now is the time for the insurgency. While there won’t be mass coordinated action, this doesn’t mean that individuals won’t respond to the post feminist reality and make choices which are in their own best interest.”

And I also agree with commenter rstj:

As I was reading W. F. Price’s overly optimistic article at The Spearhead something struck me: there are predictions that the world will end next year – maybe it won’t be meteors or sunspots or whatever, instead it will be us. We will create a crisis so vast we’ll burn the world under ourselves completely. And then it struck me that the world looks like as if the elite international bankers have bought into these end-of-the-world rumors decades ago, and they looted and razed everything around them so they can enjoy the world’s final moments more. They are drinking the finest scotch and smoking the best cigars on a sinking ship, so to speak. The world can go to hell in a handbasket – quite literally – for all they care.

Either they know something we don’t, or I just came up with a stupid idea :)
