Clarisse is right to say feminists haven’t really responded to the plaintive cries of self-described “nice guys” who claim they want non-sexist dating advice that works
“Non-sexist dating advice”? You mean, like, asexual? Let’s see how that works out for them.
“non-sexist dating advice that works”
Umm… no. Any dating advice that would actually work would have to acknowledge the differences between the sexes. Which would make it “sexist” by the feminist definition of the word.
What is the feminist definition of “sexist”? It is normal male behavior in a male-female interaction. A strong, confident man will always be “sexist” to feminists.
The best part? She touted “The Situation” as an example of what men “should” be doing.
Amanda Marcotte has no frigging clue what she’s talking about.
The situation actually has the best game on Jersey Shore. He does negging and playful teasing a lot. He’s the most male dominant of the crew, and also the smartest among the guys, which isn’t saying much.
For all but that last reason I’m very surprised she named him for that.
He’s the least good looking and the least built, and being big built is a big deal among the working class Italian girls the gang is after to pull, but he still has by far the most success in pulling girls and getting his notches.
He probably has non male dominant dating advice most of all, which is a fail. As is non anti-feminist gender realism based dating advice.
